Last January I joined the Stitch ‘n Bitch Amsterdam De Pijp Group following my wishes to learn knitting and have someone to share with my doubts, patterns and some chat.
Everything begun last year in my first visit to the Breidag fair where I bought my copy of Stitch ‘n Bitch Superstar: Go Beyond The Basics. By then I didn’t know more stitches than knit and purl, so that was a little bit overwealming, but so wonderful that I wanted to learn how to do it and I had to buy the beginners book, which was more understandable for me, The Stitch ‘n Bitch Handbook: Instructions, Patterns, and Advice for a New Generation of Knitters
I am learning day by day with my books and Ravelry, it’s such an amazing community! and also I have joined a few courses from Craftsy, I will tell you about them soon. They seem to be very very useful and helpful for all crafters and levels.
The next edition of Breidag is going to be next week and some of the most relevant knitting designers will be there, like Ysolda Teague with many wonderful patterns, her Ishbel Shawl from Whimsical Little Knits is right now in my queue; and Stephen West, I love his amazing Daybreak shawl!
This is all for now, I’ll keep you updated on the news!
